As a global movement, YMCA is committed to advancing global conservation and responsibility to reduce the effects of climate change through youth-led education programmes and initiatives that improve environmental awareness.
Here in the Philippines, we are leading by example and allocating the necessary resources for projects and initiatives that will reduce our human impact on the planet. These include new buildings being fitted with solar panels and replacing old light fittings with energy efficient light sources. We are also working with young people to hear their concerns and finding solutions so every young person can live in a sustainable environment.
